The enchanting region that encloses the five towns of Seefeld, Leutasch, Mösern-Buchen, Reith and Scharnitz is called the "Olympic region of Seefeld", and not by chance: it hosted three winter Olympics and in 2019 it will have the honour to host The Nordic Ski World Cup for the second time.
Its marvellous ski slopes, both for downhill and cross country skiing, are among the major attractions in the area. But this region has a lot to offer even in the summer: countless paths immersed in nature, both for families and adventurers, divided in different levels of difficulty. Some of these routes lead to three lakes, such as Möserer See, Lottensee and Wildmoossee, all of them suitable for swimming.
As one of the most touristic regions of the Alpine area, it offers many services to its visitors: all kinds of hotel facilities, from typical Tyrolean ones to the most luxurious ones, SPA and wellness facilities, the famous Seefeld Casino and a variety of shops for shopping lovers. But the Seefeld's Olympic region is also a culinary paradise, both for those looking for luxurious restaurants or for those who prefer to taste traditional Tyrolean dishes. Finally, cultural aspect is not missing: buildings of historical interest and picturesque churches deserve the attention of the tourist.
