Our hotel has been designed to give you a dream holiday.

Within the hotel you will find a spacious wellness area in which you can relax to the full to restore your peace of mind and pamper your body and spirit. You can decide which of our proposals suits you best. Possibilities include a Finnish sauna, an herbal bio-sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin, experience showers and a Kneipp path, as well as an herbal tea corner. If you love the water, you can enjoy and relax in the year-round heated swimming pool with a large sunbathing lawn, sun loungers and relaxation corners, a whirlpool and a panoramic pool with large windows and sun terrace; and if you are in the company of your children, let them have fun in the playground or in the large playroom. There really is no shortage of opportunities to relax! If, on the other hand, you want to experience an active holiday, this is indeed an active holiday paradise. The Pustertal valley offers all kinds of outdoor activities that you can enjoy in summer or winter.

During the warm season, you can go hiking, climbing, cycling or mountain biking and trekking, all on safe paths and tracks surrounded by the green nature of South Tyrol.

In winter, just a 4-minute walk from the hotel is the Gitschberg-Jochtal ski area cable car; from here you can reach the ski slopes to practice your favourite winter sports: skiing, tobogganing or cross-country skiing. If, on the other hand, you simply want to take a walk, you can do it surrounded by snow-covered nature, perhaps with a snowshoe hike.

When you return to the hotel after a day in the fresh air, our chef and his kitchen staff await you, ready to delight your palate with old family recipes made from regional and seasonal ingredients.

Mühlbach

The entrance of the Pustertal valley

The holiday resort Mühlbach is located at the entrance to the Pustertal valley and is, at any time of the year, a place that offers many opportunities to spend one's leisure time and holidays in a unique natural landscape. The village is an excellent starting point for excursions and hikes in the valley or in the mountains, from alpine pasture to alpine pasture, from peak to peak, a place where the Dolomites, which remain the undisputed protagonists, offer an unparalleled hiking paradise and a dreamlike panorama. Many of the hikes and excursions have Rio di Pusteria as their meeting and starting point.

The mediaeval village centre and numerous shopping opportunities invite you to stroll around and admire the historic houses and chapels. Characteristic and much visited is the historic Chiusa di Rio Pusteria, which is the setting for various cultural events.

Even during the winter months, Rio di Pusteria remains a fascinating place to visit: the ski slopes are easily accessible here. A cable car takes skiers and snowboarders from Rio di Pusteria up to Maranza on the Gitschberg - Jochtal ski area, where they can enjoy their favourite winter sports. The beautiful snow-covered peaks of the holiday region Val Pusteria provide the backdrop. And if anyone is looking for relaxation and peace, it is possible to toboggan along the beautiful toboggan runs, go cross-country skiing or simply walk in the snow with snowshoes. A holiday in Rio di Pusteria truly makes everyone happy.
